Luggage Delayed in Dubai


This is a flashback post...

The Aircraft was happily chosen by us for the travel of my family to Europe.

Until i heard that something wrong with my parents luggage...

 

 

It was the first trip to Europe for my parents, and third for my cousins with no complaints regarding the chosen airline on their previous flies, instead more of compliments. So, they decided to arrive in Paris and rent a car to go to Ajka, Hungary. 
Everything went well, they gratefully arrived in Charles De Gaulle airport on August 8th. While claiming their luggage, they got a bad news that their luggage and the other passenger's luggage could not be found and there might be a chance that it was left in Dubai and will be delayed.
Not only one luggage, but two luggages was left behind. Without clear explanation as to why on earth those luggage could be left behind in Dubai. My parents dress is in that baggage, along with my wedding merchandise. It was not funny at all.
We were in so much worried because my family had to start their journey to Ajka on the morrow and if their baggage still not delivered, it would be a very bad thing.

The second bad news is that the car which supposedly rented by them was suddenly cancelled due to an underage problem, my cousin is still under 24 years of age which means he could not drive nor rent a car. Problem was, they booked the car with his name. So it had to be cancelled, my father did not have any credit card so they had to give an extra money to change to a tinier car.

One day after they arrived in Paris, finally they got a news from the hotel front desk that 1 luggage had just been delivered. And that bag is the one cointaining my Parents dress for the wedding.

Well, tinier car is bad with 4 people with Europe-Travel-kind-of-luggage. 
Thankfully, ( this is ironic actually ) there was still 1 luggage delayed in Dubai so they can fit in the car with their luggage.

I called the customer service to send the luggage to my home in Ajka instead of Paris, because my parents had already checked out, this was my second call actually, first call was begging them to send the luggage the next day because my family would only stay for 1 night. Obviously, my wish was beyond their service.

My family arrived in Ajka on August 10th, 2016. And sadly until they went back Paris to go back Indonesia my luggage was not delivered to Ajka, instead it was sent to the first hotel they stayed to in Paris. So, i had to search for a europe courier service to send that luggage to Ajka and that cost me almost 700.000 IDR. 
Which i think should not be happened if they do their service as promised.

I was very disappointed with them, i am a member of their miles and now in consideration to change airline for my future travels.
